Good to know! thx master Baldrick! :)... Out-of-sync MOV File - It might help to reconvert. Try mp4cam2avi or mpeg streamclip .... Question about "DMA is not Enabled" warning message on DVDFab Pla - It does take six tries at reading before PIO mode is initiated by the OS. So it does take some time. :) Some of the software mods may increase that number by modifying the registry. I believe this problem is strictly from the DVD/CD reading software in the OS.
Whether the file itself is corrupted or not is not really an issue, AFAIK. I believ ... Hardcoding PGS into .264 for PS3 - 1. It's the video stream in h264 format.
2. If you want hardcoded subs you must reconvert. Use suprip to convert the blu-ray sup to srt. Load the m2ts in ripbot264 or xvid4psp and the srt subtitle and convert to mp4.
And this is no digitaltv. Moving you.... .mov files from digital camera incompatible with QuickTime 7 - I have solved the problem. Finally thanks to Herve I could make the reencapsulation in a new mov container of the movies with ffmpeg . Everything was ok, and since no reencoding was needed I have just converted the first folder with 500Gb in less than 5 minutes. Now my videos are completely compatible with all my software.

Looking at the screenshot, if the audio is already in .wav format, you won't lose anything by using Premiere, because you will be re-encoding to AC3 anyway

MJA is probably right. The WD, which is the only one of the 3 that I own in sdvideo's list, is fussy about Divx. It has to be named .avi to work and others have reported having to remux files to get them to work. I can tell you that I tested it with a file that had packed bit ... film festival requirements (SONY HDCAM) - I used a Canan Vixia HF10. Edited the m2ts files in Vegas . I am still editing some, but I guess I can convert it to Blu-ray or DVD. I have no Idea how to go about getting it on there, once I rent one. Any idea how much it would cost to rent one?

i tested the sample provided both on iphone and psp on iphone works but on psp dont work (i check the properties on psp and at video codec was: - [it means unknown] and at audio codec was: aac lc 128kb 48khz)

Yes because that device has gamma/brightness/contrast/saturation correction to make an LCD look like a CRT TV.

I did what you said, clicked on the little speaker icon, changed setting to "record" and enabled the Wave Out Mix.
Then Audacity began to record something, but it sounded like a bunch of deep echoes. So I did a quick Google search and found that I had to turn off "Software Playthrough" on the Audio I/O tab of Audacity.

DVD Ripping to HDD - For home theater use, ripping the DVDs directly to the hard drive is probably the best and quickest way, as the quality would be the same as the original DVD. It is much easier to get higher quality with option 1. Using option 2, there are many opportunities to get some piss-poor quality videos, for example using software attempting real-time encoding on a computer ... I suspect in some cases it is a bit the registry, and also the IDE controller or MB drivers and maybe even the cabling. I did have one motherboard, I forget the brand, that didn't have the DMA/PIO settings. They were automatic and you never knew what mode it was in unless the drives were really slow.
