Sowing:
Direct at fortnightly intervals for continuous crop.
Transplanting larger seedlings can lead to the plant bolting to seed.
Best sown as mid season plants (i.e. Spring and Autumn)

Growing Habit:
Loose, feathery plant to 90 cm high.

Growing Conditions:
Needs mild conditions to do best.
Full sun required.
Plant between cabbage family plants to repel cabbage white butterfly.
Allow some plants to go to seed to attract beneficial insects into the garden.

Companions:
Beetroot, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, coriander, cucumber, tomato.

Problems:
Frost sensitive.
Can bolt to seed in extended hot/dry conditions.

Uses:
Great compliment to fish dishes and sauces.
Good companion for planting.
Pretty flowers for medium height backdrop in ornamental garden.
